What a week! I can't believe I was able to accomplish as much as I did in such a short span of time, even though I really did need just one more day before I left. Everything is going great so far here in Italy and the comment we make the most often is, "This doesn't feel crazy at all!" We are in awe of how normal everything feels, which then causes us to wonder if WE are the ones who are crazy, ha ha. But then we quickly realize that no, we are not crazy. We are just being richly blessed and that as long as we are together, it really doesn't matter what country we're in. Monday: Abby was on spring break, so she hung out with me for the day while Gwen went to preschool in the morning. We exercised together just like old times and did some laundry before going to pick up Gwennie. Southern Donuts with "Mom"

It's been a tremendous week down here in Louisiana with the girls! They have overcome sickness more than once and we have done some really fun things. :) More on the Donuts with "Mom" thing in a minute . . . Monday: After doing some house cleaning and the last of my packing, my friend, Barb Vance, drove me to the Idaho Falls Airport and I began my trek down to Shreveport. My flight was delayed from Denver to Shreveport, and then once in the air, the captain told us that due to a very large storm in eastern Texas, they were routing us down to New Mexico, then over to Houston, and finally up into Shreveport.  Here is a video that I took as we were getting close to Shreveport - with all the lightning going on around us.
