The Week in Pictures - You're Welcome :)

I may or may not feel somewhat lacking in gumption today. That's why I'm giving the gift of story-telling through pictures for this week's blog post. Minimal words; Maximum photos and videos. Make up your own stories - I'm sure they'll be great! :)

It needed a little more work . . .

And don't be frightened. This is just our ninja attire when we deliver the 12 Days of Christmas items to our friend Kim each night.

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

This is the last family photo that my friend Lisa Anthoney took with her family. It was taken a few years ago. Amber set out to recreate it in the form of a painting, with the intent to help Lisa, who is grieving the loss of her husband to COVID-19. We sent her package off a couple days ago, including a copy of the book, "The Message" by Lance Richardson. We also knew Lance before he died. He wrote an amazing account of his experiences while in a coma for several weeks. It has the potential to change your life regarding heaven and to provide healing from the loss of your loved ones.

Lunch with Jasmine at our favorite place: Black Bear Diner :)

A few minutes later, I got pulled over for expired registration. Oops . . . (didn't get a ticket though)

Bathroom Shower flooring getting all laid out

Friday:

Gwen, eating a Gogurt while I wrapped Christmas gifts.

You will never hear this in any other grocery store. Guaranteed. :)

Saturday:

Scott spent all day getting the flooring 90% finished, as well as attaching the bottom row of marble tiles for the walls. He also put the pebble rocks in the shower niches.

Here is his technique: (51 seconds)

Meanwhile, I decorated and delivered cupcakes all across the land.

Sunday:

Family group chat. We took my Italian Fun Facts quiz as a group and got 80%. I had to be careful not to help them, since I was the one who created the quiz.

*On the screen you'll see that they INCORRECTLY chose #2 as to what items Italians invented.
See if you can figure out the correct answer.

Coming up this week we look forward to:
Cleaning the house (well, maybe it's just me that looks forward to this)
Having Jake & Hannah come to see us on Tuesday through Christmas
Talking to family members throughout the week
Having our Italian Ancestor Night of food, music and fun on Christmas Eve
Sharing family time on Christmas Day
